With help from the newly acquired Apperceptive, a large social media design firm, SixApart will offer site design tools to go along with its own newly announced advertising network. SixApart executives believe that design services will bring in more readers, while an innovative advertising network will help take advantage of a bump in traffic.
Ultimately, the goal for SixApart is to attract new users and strengthen its relationship with existing users while also taking a bigger chunk of overall online ad revenues. SixApart believes that bloggers are “coming of age” and are more serious and demanding as a result.
