Stat of the Week: 79% of U.S. marketers are using Sponsored Tweets

eMarketer reports that an RBC/Advertising Age study found that 79% of U.S. marketers surveyed are now using sponsored tweets, up from 44% just one year ago.

Other Twitter promotional tools, like sponsored accounts and trends were not nearly as commonly employed.
