Boston Social Media Event: The Future of Journalism

by Sarah Wurrey on May 15, 2008

From Tech PR Gems:

A reminder that next Tuesday, the Social Media Club Boston and PRSA Boston are putting on a great program on The Future of Journalism in a Social Media World. Moderator, social media maven and former journalist Paul Gillin will quiz panelists from print, online, television and radio on how social media is changing both their business
models and their professions.

The program starts at 6pm on Tuesday the 20th and will be held at the American Cancer Society’s offices right off the
Weston Tolls. The panelists will include the digital media directors from both WBUR and NECN, as well as a representative from one of Boston’s biggest media conglomerates and a former reporter from the New York Times and Wired.

Feel free to sign up as a Social Media Club member (even if you’re not) to get in for $40, which includes the cost of dinner. It promises to be a goodone, and we hope you can make it.
