What is PR Anyway?

For this week’s Roundtable, Chip Griffin is joined by Doug Haslam to discuss the recent New York Times article on startup PR and the issues that the item and subsequent discussion have raised.

In particular, the two explore the overall perception of public relations, both by the media and clients, as well as the changing dynamics in the communications industry.

EDITOR’S NOTE: There are some occasional audio interruptions, primarily while Doug is speaking. We didn’t do this to pick on him, no matter what he may say. He just seems to draw the recording gremlins out. On the bright side, at least most of what he said was recorded this time (as opposed to a previous show he and Chip recorded several months ago that went completely unrecorded).
