Introducing MacBook Air

At the MacWorld Expo this week, Apple has announced its latest notebook in the MacBook series, the MacBook Air. A super lightweight computer that is only a fraction of an inch thick at the screen and keyboard and weighing in at just three pounds, the Air is designed to work mostly wireless.
The Air can run for up to five hours on battery power with everything running, and has a 13.3 inch screen complete with ambient light sensors, a backlit LED keyboard, and a multi-touch trackpad that offers zoom, rotate, and other gestures.
One aspect that has the bloggers at tech gadget blog Gizmodo excited? The machine starts at only $1,799. Astoungingly, however, that price jumps to $3,100 when the user opts for the 80 or 64 GB solid state drive.
