Another week brings another wave of announcements about new Media Bullseye columnists. I’m especially pleased that we’re bringing some new voices to the table, along with more great content from some regulars you will no doubt recognize.
Wayne Kurtzman. You will continue to see Wayne’s byline on a nearly weekly basis, but he will officially occupy the second and fourth Mondays of each month where he will bring his keen eye and experience to bear on the social media space. You just need to read his pieces to understand how much valuable insight he has to ofer.
Katie Harbath. A veteran of Washington, DC politics and public affairs, Katie will touch on issues of particular interest to those interested in social media advocacy. On the second Tuesday of each month, she will use her experience on campaigns and working with companies and other organizations to provide savvy practical advice and observations.
Nathan Burke. What would a new media publication be without some discussion of startups? For that we turned to a frequent contributor to scope out the interesting happenings, useful services, and enterprising entrepreneurs that are at the heart of this wave of innovation. His column will appear on the second Wednesday of the month.
Jonathan Bernstein. The Internet is at the root of many crises these days, but it also provides a vital medium for communication for offline incidents. To make sure we devote the attention this important area of communications deserves, we asked an old friend and one of the most respected voices in the public relations community on this topic to pen a column for the second Thursday of every month.
Mark Story. Cleaning up the second week of each month — or perhaps just making a mess of the weekend — will be the irrascible and insightful Mark Story. He is probably over-qualified for these pages as an agency veteran, university professor, government communicator, and Red Sox fan. We couldn’t ask for a more complete package to anchor the second Friday of the month.
