In this episode of the Roundtable, I was joined by Doug Haslam to engage in our usual antics — I mean, discussion. We had a robust conversation about three topics (and ran about 3 minutes long as a result):
— The Edelman post about how mental health experts could participate in the coverage of the Robin Williams tragedy and the blowback that generated.
— The impact of Facebook’s news feed algorithm changes on nonprofits and others with limited budgets (and what it means about where you publish and promote content). Oh, and a bit on the Ice Bucket Challange in this segment, too.
— LinkedIn’s plan to become more of a B2B marketing platform, and the broader implications of that strategy for the overall social networking marketplace.
